AAID Long Range Readers

The AutoAccess Long Range Vehicle ID Readers are specifically designed for hands-free vehicle identification in fleet management, parking, airports, gated communities, access control, and asset management applications. The AA-R500 Vehicle ID Readers communicate with AAID Tags to capture the presence, identification and location of vehicles, assets, people and alarm triggered events. They provide long range coverage for dynamic vehicle ID location, inventory management, and real-time personnel mustering.

AAID Vehicle ID Readers communicate with Access Control systems in standard 26 or 32 bit Wiegand formats, or via a serial RS-232 or RS-485 protocol for custom software solutions, and are also able to operate on a new or existing Ethernet LAN / WAN Network.

The R500 is a omni-directional weather resistant antenna. The R500 can read multiple tags simoultaniously to assure proper tracking of assests and vehicles. The read range is adjustable from 6 feet to 400 feet. To provide a Weigand output requires the AAID WOM

The Directional Antenna aims the reception of tags to the optimum direction while avoiding phantom reading from other tags located close proximity . An application would be a parking lot with adjacent entrance and exit lanes and parked cars in close proximity to the readers.
