All versions of Maestro come standard with interactive floor plans and device icons, a built-in Macro developer and compiler, a time and attendance module, and support for many popular DVR systems. Maestro utilizes Cansec's CP40 Two Door Controller with a distributed database architecture, ensuring continued operation in the event of communication failure. Because this system is modular and easily expandable, you can start off with FREE Maestro32 software with as little as one controller and expand the system as your needs grow without losing your original investment. Rest assured that Maestro software can be easily upgraded to any version without loosing data should you choose to upgrade at a later date. Maestro is available in three versions:

Proximity Readers and Cards

To complete a system each controller requires a proximity reader per door and each user requires a proximity card. Proximity readers and cards come in a large variety of styles to serve many different applications. Cansec's CP40 Access Control Panel uses state of the art technology to provide a cost-effective means of providing complete and relentless security management. Each CP40 can support up to two Card Readers including either Cansec's own CanProx Proximity, or iButtonTM Readers, as well as many other popular Reader technologies.

Each CP40 can store 65,500 users. To further enhance the controller's capabilities, an optional Input/Output Module may be added to include Facility Monitoring, Output Control, and Elevator Control. These Modules are available in the following configurations:
