Simplicity, economy and reliability are the
hallmarks of GTO's wireless intercoms. An operating range
of 300 to 500 feet with standard antenna the
range can be increased to 500 to 700 feet with
optional external antennas, satisfies most residential applications. A combination intercom / keypad provides two ways for access to a property. A visitor can communicate with residents who then release a door or gate from their home. A keypad holds up to 25 codes for family or staff to use to activate a door or gate. The intercom / keypad is enclosed in a rugged weatherproof housing that mounts to a gooseneck
or wall for easy access for visitors.
To begin communication with the homeowner the visitor activates the call button. The homeowner and visitor can exchange information. The homeowner can grant access by pressing the arming button on their intercom, then giving the visitor a code to enter the keypad. The visitor enters the code and the gate or door releases. For security the keypad disarms after 1 minute and the code becomes invalid. For convenience a total of four interior intercoms can be used with a single exterior unit. Staff or family enter in their individual pin code into the keypad and the unit will activate the gate.
The intercom / keypad can be hardwired to the gate or door or to save trenching across a driveway the keypad comes with a built-in radio transmitter that can activate a remote door or gate equipped with a radio receiver.
