Tri-Cor's Tri-Cor Doorking Workshop April 15th, 2008

Tri-Cor International in conjunction with DoorKing held a Gate Operator and Telephone Entry System Workshop for Midwest dealers. The all day seminar was led by DoorKing’s head tech Ron Miller at the Hilton Double Tree hotel in Downers Grove IL. Over eighty fencing and security contractors attended the workshop making this one of Tri-Cor’s most successful events.

Ron Miller’s unique presentation style of training which combines practical working knowledge reinforced with humorous tails of anonymous dealers’ field experiences made this an enjoyable and memorable experience for attendees. Dealers learned the proper techniques for quoting, layout, installation and troubleshooting of gate operators, telephone entry and access control installations. Tri-Cor displayed a large array of DoorKing telephone entry systems and gate operators for the attendees to peruse during breaks and lunch. DoorKing’s new 6500 swing gate operator and wireless Weigand system were the big hits of the workshop.

During lunch Tri-Cor held a raffle with a grand prize of a Ryobi battery powered drill and circular saw won by Scott Sauder of American Fence. Other prizes of Ryobi laser levels, tool bags and Klien screwdriver sets were furnished by Tri-Cor. DoorKing provided two I Pod minis for the auction.
