Tri-Cor Open House Feburary 2008

Tri-Cor International, a distributor of automatic gate operators and access control equipment located in Chicago IL, held an open house in February. Fencing contractors and other professionals enjoyed lunch with friends and peers while viewing new products. During the open house Tom Hebda held a presentation showcasing Tri-Cor’s web site and how dealers’ sales staff can use the site as a sales aid when selling access control.

Tri-Cor’s web site, www.tcisales.com, was designed to be an educational resource for access control professionals and consumers. The web site is unique because it contains not only information about manufacturers and their products, but educational information presented in a generic form about gate operator system design, telephone entry systems, wireless communications, long range readers, emergency phones and license plate recognition systems.

During the open house a seminar was held for contractor’s sales staff using Tri-Cor’s web site to demonstrate how to increase sales and profits by selling wireless communication.

Tri-Cor is committed to providing continuing education to access control professionals on new products and their proper application and installation. Ted Buenz president of the Chicago AFA Chapter invited attendees to the Chicago Tabletop Show and encouraged them to enroll in the AFA Gate Operator Installers Certification Program. A raffle for various hand tools was held during the open house.
